La Séjannerie is just less than 1km from the village of Gathemo. Although serving a population of fewer than 300, the village has an excellent bakery, so good in fact, that people come from miles around.

Nearby Sourdeval (7km) is where we do most of our shopping. It’s a small busy town, with an excellent Utile (Super U) supermarket, several bakers, butchers and specialist shops, bars, banks and cafes, a pharmacy and a small 24/24 petrol station. The town has its weekly market on Tuesdays and this takes over the whole of the town centre with stalls selling everything you can think of!
Vire (13km) is the major local town and has a broad range of shops and supermarkets (Leclerc, Carrefour and Intermarche). You will also find such things as doctors, dentists and the local hospital, the swimming pool, tennis courts and cinema
If you are looking for things to do, then there is plenty of opportunity for walking, jogging and biking right on your doorstep, as La Séjannerie is situated in beautiful countryside.
